Meet Our Teachers
All of our A Live Yogi teachers are qualified yoga teachers and between them have thousands of hours of class time under their belts.
Amanda has a strong desire to share yoga and meditation with others to support and encourage them to release stress, provide opportunities and utilise tools for self care, for improved health, happiness and well being.
It would be fair to say that yoga is Mandy’s greatest passion, she truly believes that there is a yoga practice suitable for everyone on this planet. She sees our yoga mats as the perfect training ground for life, always inviting the opportunity for self-enquiry, growth and transformation.
Sally has always had a passion for exploring inner-space and really getting to know ourselves. As a child she remembers having a thirst for the profound peace and spirit she would discover through dance, yoga, meditation and being in nature.
Lucy found yoga when she was searching for an outlet during a stressful period of study and work. A creative soul, Lucy saw yoga as an art form, a form of self-expression, and an opportunity to spend some quality time with herself!
Amazed by the benefits of yoga, Margot was introduced to Kundalini Yoga. At this stage her interest in metaphysical sciences and the healing arts was in full swing, so Kundalini spoke straight to her growing awareness of subtle energy and the intricacies of the mind/body connection.
Cody provides a practice that will reduce aches and pains, improve your ability to surf and lift weights with safe and proper technique (not hindered by stiff inflexible joints), overall ease of movement, balance and agility. This all equals a happier, less stressed being! Who doesn’t want that?!
Melina brings a gentle, calming and soothing energy to her classes by creating space for her students in a way they can connect back to themselves to create positive changes within. Her classes can be described as soft and feminine and leave you feeling nurtured, calm and balanced.
Helen enjoys teaching dynamic Power Flow classes for all levels, with the belief that yoga is for every-body – and that every ‘being’ can benefit immensely from this sacred practice as well as being passionately drawn to the healing that restorative, yin and meditation practices can offer.
Kayla’s passion is to teach, inspire and empower you to be the best version of yourself. Encouraging balance of the mind, body and spirit. I believe that health isn’t just a one size fits all and nor should it be, we are all beautifully unique!
Kat Harding is an international yoga teacher based in Noosa, who regularly teaches SUP yoga, workshops and retreats both in Australia and overseas. Kat is passionate about using the physical practice of yoga to find stillness in the mind.
In search of some inner peace, Sophie turned to yoga to aid her during a personally challenging time. With her dedication to her personal practice, bringing balance, energy and both physical and mental strength.
