Meet Our Teachers

All of our A Live Yogi teachers are qualified yoga teachers and between them have thousands of hours of class time under their belts.

Lucy found yoga when she was searching for an outlet during a stressful period of study and work. A creative soul, Lucy saw yoga as an art form, a form of self-expression, and an opportunity to spend some quality time with herself!

With more than 850hrs of formal training covering a range of different styles including Vinyasa, Hatha, Therapy and Yin, Mandy’s classes can be described as playful, creative, alignment-based movement synchronised with breath.

Melbourne-born Kat first discovered yoga in 2008. Kat guides you through not just a physical practice, but towards a life of fulfillment, where the mind is still and an ultimate sense of peace is achieved regardless of external stimuli.

Amazed by the benefits of yoga, Margot was introduced to Kundalini Yoga. At this stage her interest in metaphysical sciences and the healing arts was in full swing, so Kundalini spoke straight to her growing awareness of subtle energy and the intricacies of the mind/body connection.

Helen enjoys teaching dynamic Power Flow classes for all levels, with the belief that yoga is for every-body – and that every ‘being’ can benefit immensely from this sacred practice as well as being passionately drawn to the healing that restorative, yin and meditation practices can offer.

Sally has always had a passion for exploring inner-space and really getting to know ourselves. As a child she remembers having a thirst for the profound peace and spirit she would discover through dance, yoga, meditation and being in nature.

As a mother of two, she understands life’s challenges of finding time for ourselves and is passionate about assisting others with finding that balance. “There is no precise description of what yoga is, for each of us it is ever changing and evolving, such as in life. Yoga is about accepting yourself, getting to know yourself and learning to love that self.

Nikki Ralston is a natural teacher who has been working with the human body for the last 18 years, her passion for yoga, movement and anatomical understanding shines through and is infectious to others.

Kelly Carthy is an experienced wellbeing entrepreneur with over 20 years industry experience in personal transformational coaching, yoga, pilates, personal training, health education and training, massage, natural therapies, pre and post natal wellbeing and nutrition.

Amy

Amy’s teaching style is intuitive and technical, strong yet soft and helps to create space physically and mentally. Coming from a background of dance she is passionate about movement in all it’s forms, from vinyasa and acro-yoga to weight lifting, gymnastics and FRC.

The biggest lesson yoga and meditation has taught Lucy is to listen to the body and to that innate wisdom behind all the busy thoughts.   If nothing else she encourages her students to use the practice to anchor themselves into (and enjoy) the present moment as that’s where the magic happens!

Kat Harding is an international yoga teacher based in Noosa, who regularly teaches SUP yoga, workshops and retreats both in Australia and overseas. Kat is passionate about using the physical practice of yoga to find stillness in the mind.

Kali Gray from MFC is on a mission to help women feel good about food and their bodies! After overcoming disordered eating as a teenager and training in the ‘Non-Diet’ approach as a clinical Dietitian, Kali is a passionate advocate for health free from diets.

Jade delivers a spirited yet grounded class, drawing on her experience of guiding meditation, holding ceremony and facilitating spiritual development training.  Jade has a gift for weaving the spiritual with the practical, assisting her students to feel balanced on all levels.
