Join Amanda Boreham as she expertly guides you through her Chair Yoga Series.

Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga where all postures are performed with the support of a chair whilst sitting or standing. This type of yoga makes it more accessible to a wider range of age groups and ability. You get all the wonderful benefits of traditional floor yoga classes with breath work, physical postures and relaxation meditation.

Build strength and balance with the support of your chair.   The benefits of chair yoga will be felt from your very first class and are accumulative.

No matter what age, yoga experience or ability, this series is perfect for anyone and everyone.

This 5 Part Chair Yoga Series – covers the upper body, spine and core, hips and pelvis, lower body and culminates into a full body focus flow.

Gently move, breathe and stretch your whole body to improve balance, mobility and flexibility.

Class 1: Upper Body Focus (25 mins)

Class 2: Spine & Core (30 mins)

Class 3: Hips & Pelvis (45 mins)

Class 4: Lower Body Focus (45 mins)

Class 5: Final Session – Full Body Focus (45 mins)

Amanda Boreham

Following a stroke in early 2015, despite being a fit and healthy person, Amanda discovered the true power of self-care and healing through energy relaxation, meditation and yoga. She truly believed she couldn’t have got through this crisis without these tools.  For this reason Amanda, has a strong desire to share what she has learnt with others to support and encourage them to release stress, provide opportunities and utilise tools for self care, for improved health, happiness and well being.  She holds an advanced Diploma in qualified Meditation Teacher and Therapist, Yoga Alliance Certified RYT 350 hr Yoga Teacher.

How do I use A Live Yogi?

You sign up for a membership and gain unlimited access to all online yoga & meditation classes. Choose a class, roll out your mat, and get started. 

What styles of yoga does A Live Yogi offer?

We have all kinds of yoga from power vinyasa to gentle flow, yin, kundalini, meditation and mindfulness. We offer classes for beginners through to advanced yogis. 

I’ve never done yoga before. Is this suitable for me?

Absolutely. Yoga is suitable for every body. You’ve just got to be willing to roll out your mat and give it a go. You will see we have many styles and many levels. Try a class under our Beginner’s category or complete our Beginners Series to familiarise yourself with the practice and a few of the more common poses. Remember, one of the biggest no-no’s in yoga is judgement – so be kind on yourself – no one was ever born ready to do a handstand!

What devices does A Live Yogi work on?

A Live Yogi is 100% web based, so practice on any device that you access the internet on. Smartphones, tablets, desktops and laptops. If you’re set up at home to push videos from your device to a TV screen (via Chromecast or Apple TV) this should work with A Live Yogi classes too.
